How To Submit Your Business Online
Signing up on PenguinPages is easy, simply follow these steps:
First You Need a PenguinPages Account
- Click here to Sign-up and register your chosen username and email address
- You will receive an email containing your temporary password
- Click the link in your email to log in to your PenguinPages account for the first time
- Enter your chosen username and your temporary password
- When you log in for the first time, click the ‘Yes, take me to my profile page‘ link to update your profile and set a new password
Then You Need To Register Your Company
Once you have set up your user account, you need to register your companies. This is a very quick process but in case you need help, here is a short how-to.
Step 1: Login
Log in with your chosen username and password. If this is the first time you are logging in then be sure to copy / paste the temporary password that is emailed to you.
Step 2: Click The Companies Tab
Click the small arrow next to the ‘Companies’ tab, then click ‘Submit Your Companies’.
Step 3: Company Name & Description
IMPORTANT: In order to gain more hits from Google and other search engines, do not simply copy your company description from your website or other directories. Try to type out a unique description to gain an SEO advantage.
This is the meat of your business profile, this is what will count when web users perform a company search on PenguinPages. So be sure to include any important keywords in your company description so that your business shows up when your potential customers perform any searches.
Step 4: Additional Company Details
Submit information to allow your customers to contact you. Remember, PenguinPages lets you submit your website URL for free!
Step 5: Submit For Review
Once you have typed up your profile, it’s time to get it published. Before your listing appears online, it will need to be approved by a PenguinPages moderator. This normally happens within 24 hours. Once your listing has been approved then it will be available for everybody to see.
