Information We May Collect From You

We may store the following pieces of information about you:

• Your Name is used purely for contact purposes. Should PenguinPages need to email you regarding your user account, we will need to know your name to greet you. It is also used so that we can tell which user created a company profile that is pending approval.
• Your email address is stored so that your user account is unique from the rest, therefore allowing you to login to your own unique account. It is also used should PenguinPages need to contact you regarding your account.

PenguinPages does not need your personal details for any reasons other than those stated above, therefore your data will not be given to any third parties and user details will only be viewed by an administrator when it is necessary to contact a user.

Information we collect about your business

PenguinPages may store the following information about your business:

• Company Name
• Tags (for search facilities)
• Company Description
• Building Number and Street Name
• Town / City
• County
• Postcode
• Telephone Number
• Email Address
• Website Address

None of the above information is essential. It is even possible to submit a company profile will all of these fields blank. However should this happen, it is very unlikely that your profile will be approved by an administrator. Stored company information submitted by you is used to be displayed on company profiles, for users to search by and to show up in search results. We do not store any company information that is not displayed on the website pages viewable by the public except for an ID number that is automatically assigned to a company profile upon submission. The latter is used so that each company in the database has its own unique profile.

Your Rights

You have the right to request to have your details to be removed from the PenguinPages database. This, however, will mean that your account will have to be deleted also, along with any company profiles that you have registered. PenguinPages will not hesitate to remove your details should this be requested.

Changes to our privacy policy

Any changes to our privacy policy will be visible on this document, and will be emailed to every user that is registered on PenguinPages.
